For all the marbles

The Claremont Little League Juniors All-Star team and San Dimas have already played each other twice in the District 20 Tournament but tonight's game between the 2 teams will specifically have championship implications.

After beating San Dimas last Thursday, 9-6, Claremont faced a rejuvenated San Dimas squad on Saturday, dropping a 10-8 decision in a semifinal encounter. The two teams will settle their rivalry once and for all tonight at Pomona Jaycee Community Park (7 p.m.).

The Claremont Juniors team isn't the only squad battling for a championship tonight. Claremont's 11-12 Year-Old All-Star squad will battle La Verne at Pelota Park tonight for the District 20 crown beginning at 6:30 p.m.
