One Claremont team advances, another falls to consolation

Last night's results from the District 20 Tournament yielded a mixed bag of results for Claremont Little League's All-Star Teams.

The Claremont Junior All-Star squad trumped Pomona Ted Greene, 17-1, in Wednesday night's 2nd round matchup at Pomona Jaycees Community Park. Claremont will now play San Dimas next Thursday in the semifinals round.

Claremont's 10-11 Year-Old All Stars did not enjoy similar success last night as La Verne got the better of the local squad, 11-0. As a result of the loss, Claremont drops to the consolation round and plays Glendora National tonight.
